and a super fabulous film clip accompany the release.
.a poem for rose 
"A Poem for Rose" is Jude's forthcoming solo album, a follow up to her successful 2007 release, "A Gentle Glimpse of Waking" (fogsongs/MGM). Written in an 1857 studio in the Adelaide Hills, it moves light and love through delicate acoustic poems. With the recording of the album almost complete, check here for release dates.


A note from Jude...

Welcome to this site, which ever path has led you here.
 
A new leaf has been turned in my music journey. I have recently set about creating an album with sounds true to my own senses, unclouded from overproduction and simple in their way. I am enjoying writing this album so very much in an old studio deep in the hills while my daughter sleeps and my husband brings me cups of tea which sit ontop of my piano. It is organic (the music and the tea) and feels very real.

I also feel very blessed for the work I am doing with Ericson, a most wonderful music writer and electronic producer. Our new tracks will appear through 2009/10.

I look forward to these upcoming releases and to meeting many of you when we tour the new songs this year.
